These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Modanoa platform operated by Modanoa ("we", "our", "us"). By using our service, you agree to these Terms.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Modanoa only for lawful purposes related to managing your hagwon or accessing your child's educational information. You must not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, or use it in ways that could harm other users.
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Directors are responsible for the accuracy of student data they enter and for obtaining appropriate consent from parents.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance and will notify users in advance when possible. We are not liable for temporary service disruptions.
Payment Terms
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly based on the number of active students. Payments are processed through Stripe. You may cancel at any time with 30 days notice. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Intellectual Property
The Modanoa platform, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Modanoa. You retain ownership of all data you enter into the platform. We do not claim any rights over your content.
Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination, we will provide a reasonable period to export your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Modanoa is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
